Ana Cristina Garcia is Senior Director of Community Engagement and Health Equity for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. An expert in community health improvement, her work has included policy research and advocacy on health reform, health disparities, chronic disease, emergency preparedness, healthy aging, and child health. She has been a leader in the public and private sectors, with tenures at NewYork-Presbyterian, the New York Academy of Medicine, the Departments of Health for New York City and the State of Vermont, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, she also holds a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Master’s in Strategic Marketing Communications from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham.
